IOTA’s Executive Secretary Attends NTO Workshop in London, UK

On September 4-5, 2025, Alix Perrignon De Troyes, Executive Secretary of IOTA, participated in a high-level workshop organised by the Commonwealth Association of Tax Administrators (CATA). The workshop took place at Marlborough House in London, United Kingdom, and was hosted in CATA's capacity as Head of the Network of Tax Organisations (NTO).

The event brought together senior representatives from various NTO member organisations, including ATAF, CATA, CIAT, COTA, CREDAF, and IOTA. Participants discussed the future governance, structure, and strategic direction of the NTO. Dr Abu Tariq Jamaluddin, President of CATA, along with Ms Deborah Lock, Vice Chair of CATA, provided strong leadership support and reaffirmed CATA’s commitment to guiding the NTO through a strategic transformation period.

The outcomes of the workshop were presented at the 8th NTO General Assembly on September 5, 2025, where members considered possible adoption of the proposed changes as they explored a renewed governance framework to ensure the NTO's continued relevance and impact.
