3rd NTO Technical Conference “Navigating the Digital Tax Landscape: E-Commerce, Sharing Platforms, and Trade-in Crypto Assets”

On 18-20 February 2025, one of IOTA’s key international partner organisations, the Network of Tax Organisations (NTO) successfully organised its 3rd Technical Conference in Panama City, Panama. The Conference was hosted by the NTO member Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT) and brought together over 250 participants, both in person and online, to address the challenges and opportunities present in today’s digital tax environment.

On December 11, 2024, IOTA successfully broadcast its final digital event of the year, a Webinar on "The Effective Use of New Information Received Under Council Directive (EU) 2021/514 (‘DAC7’)". This was a partnership event with the European Union Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union. The event was joined by over 300 tax officials from 34 IOTA member administrations.

5th IOTA Annual International Conference: 'Electronic Invoicing: Implementation and Benefits'

On October 16th-17th 2024, in close collaboration with the Italian Revenue Agency, IOTA had the privilege of organising the 5th IOTA Annual International Conference: 'Electronic Invoicing: Implementation and Benefits' in the historical Italian capital of Rome. The hybrid event was attended in person by over 100 tax professionals and over 120 online participants, and we also welcomed a range of high-ranking officials from the host administration. The plenary sessions had a line-up of fantastic speakers from the IOTA member tax administrations, along with tax tech professionals, and representatives from international partner organisations, the business community and academia.
