International tax matters

IOTA is pleased to announce that the Competence Centre for International Cooperation in Tax Matters: Spain and Portugal shared their experiences with Poland through the IOTA Peer-to-Peer Technical Assistance Project. This multilateral project, launched in 2024 and titled “Competence Centre for International Cooperation in Tax Matters,” was successfully carried out by the Ministry of Finance, National Revenue Administration of Poland (NRA), as the Beneficiary, with two Provider institutions: the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) and the Portuguese Tax and Customs Authority (AT).

The 29^th General Assembly of IOTA, "Adaptive and Agile Tax Administration in a Rapidly Changing Environment", took place under the flag of the Azerbaijani Presidency represented by the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan between 17-19 June 2025 in Baku, Azerbaijan. This historic city, located along the beautiful shores of the Caspian Sea, served as the venue for IOTA’s largest gathering to date, bridging the cultures and geographies of East and West.
