Tax debt management

IOTA is pleased to introduce the latest VITARA online module, 'Payment and Debt Management,' now the 22nd module in the portfolio, with thirteen modules available in English. Initially, government officials will have access for three weeks, from December 3 to December 24, 2025. Registration must be completed by December 16, 2025, through the IMF training platform. The module will be available again in early 2026.

IOTA is proud to announce the successful completion of two key projects within the IOTA Forum on Tax Debt Management (TDM). 

From October 1-2, 2025, IOTA hosted another insightful hybrid event from its Annual Work Programme Calendar: the IOTA Forum on Tax Debt Management, titled "Navigating New Paths to Unlock Innovative Tax Debt Management Solutions." Held in Skopje, this event was organised in close collaboration with the Public Revenue Office of the Republic of North Macedonia.

We are pleased to announce the publication of one of our latest IOTA Papers. Maarten Luts and Michael Roekaerts author this edition from the Belgian, and Paul (P.R.) van der Smitte and Rob (C.T.) Heeskens from the Dutch Tax Administration.

On April 24, 2025, IOTA successfully hosted another engaging Webinar on “Financial Payment Providers and the Challenges for Tax Recovery." This event welcomed over 160 tax officials from 26 IOTA member tax administrations and was broadcast live via Microsoft Teams.
