Bern, Switzerland - November 4, 2025 — The Swiss Federal Tax Administration (FTA) is pleased to announce that the FTA’s HR Team recently welcomed five delegates from the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for a two-day professional exchange in Bern, Switzerland.
Montenegro Podgorica, Montenegro – October 28-29, 2025 — The IOTA Human Resource Management Forum on “Future-Proof Learning and Development (L&D) for the Innovative and Agile Tax Administration” successfully concluded its two-day event in Podgorica, bringing together HR and L&D professionals from across the IOTA community and beyond to address key challenges and opportunities in shaping a future-proof, innovative, and agile learning landscape in tax administrations.
On September 15-16, 2025, Alix Perrignon de Troyes, Executive Secretary of IOTA, participated in the in-person meeting organised by the OECD FTA’s HR Community of Interest in cooperation with IOTA in Paris, France. The two-day event facilitated an engaging exchange of views and experiences among members on the evolving challenges and opportunities faced by tax administrations in HR management amid rapid technological change.

Azerbaijan The 29th General Assembly of IOTA, "Adaptive and Agile Tax Administration in a Rapidly Changing Environment", took place under the flag of the Azerbaijani Presidency represented by the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan between 17-19 June 2025 in Baku, Azerbaijan. This historic city, located along the beautiful shores of the Caspian Sea, served as the venue for IOTA’s largest gathering to date, bridging the cultures and geographies of East and West.
